It took almost a month for my cockatiel to trust it. Then I'd see her pick at it once in a while. A few days ago she was sitting on the outside edge. And as of last night she's inside sleeping all cozy. I included a picture. The male doesn't seem interested, but they could both fit if they wanted to. I'm very happy with this purchase. Seems well made and safe. I made sure and put the clasps as far away from eachother as I could, reducing space between the straps and top of cage. They can not sit on top or get tangled.

I really like this little hammock. It took a month or two for my bird to decide it was something to hang out in rather than something to be attacked, but once he did, I think he started to enjoy it too. The material is very durable and the attachment is simple and secure. I have yet to wash it (I'll update the review if it falls apart in the wash), but it looks as though the fabric should handle it.
For size reference, I got this for a budgie and his head almost hits the top (it would hit the top if he didn't sort of lean when he's walking around in there. I could imagine a cockatiel or even a small parrotlet or conure enjoying this, but I wouldn't go any bigger than that.
So far, my budgie has yet to damage it, but your mileage may vary with birds with stronger beaks.

I have had a variety of birds over the years and this is always one of my first purchases for the new bird. Now - I had ordered one for my cockatoo and she ate it within minutes ( insert roll eye here), but my Quaker loved it and the 25y old cockatiel that I ended up with sits in front of it.... lol. The only thing I wished on this one was that you could wash it, I do wipe it but in the end I just toss it after so many months and buy another one.

Very nice bird hut. My Sun Conure fits nicely in the small, she likes the snug fit. She will go in at one end and come out the other. The medium was too big for her. For reference, the medium does offer a conure the ability to turn around.

This is a nice and durable item.
I bought mine over a year ago but my conure started to chew on it, so I got another one to replace it when it gets too far gone.
I have washed it a few times and it washes well with colors. The base is probably plastic instead of the expected cardboard as it stayed in excellent condition even after the few washes.
A renewed purchase by me is always an excellent indicator that you'll like it as well. The choice of color is questionnable, but my bird doesn't mind.

I am going to be completely honest, with full disclosure. These silly things are cheaply made, overpriced, and become quickly contaminated with bird droppings, which are near impossible to clean out. HOWEVER, my bird Bobo thinks they are absolutely awesome. He lets me know in every way that they make him happy and he spends every night cuddled inside like he is in heaven. So, if you love your little bird, buy several.

Huge haha. I thought it would be smaller, but it's big enough for eclectuses and similar sized birds. I have a green cheek that uses it, but I initially got it for my Senegal. He doesn't care for it, since it took up too much space and was kind of scary looking, but my little conure adores it, and loves to disappear in it.

My Lovebird Sarah adores her hideaway and sleeps in it every night. I catch her napping away in it during the day and sometimes she just hangs out in the back of it. It's well made, great color and doesn't shed.
