My toddler has dry skin on her legs and this is definitely making it better. Iu2019m not confident that it is tear free though

This Johnson's Baby Body Moisture Wash for Gentle Baby Skin Care does clean very well- I used this on my hands, when I had oily lotion residue on them, and the wash gently cleaned my skin free of the excess oils. The consistency is like a thicker liquid hair conditioner, and the smell reminds me of baby powder or Johnson's baby lotion if you have smelled that- just a lighter version of the fragrance, so this is pleasant and not overly strong a scent.

The real test for me in terms of gentleness of a cleanser, however, is to test it on my (mature, dry) face. What I found was that this was very cleansing, but stripped enough oil from my face (vs. many types of facial/ ph-balanced cleansers) so that I pretty much needed to put lotion on immediately. So, I'd say that if your baby doesn't have particularly dry skin, or you need a slightly stronger cleanser to get diaper cream and such off, this is a great bet- esp. if you lotion your baby afterwards. However, if your baby's skin is at all on the dry side, or has a rash, etc... I'd maybe look for a more gentle cleanser that is meant for faces, or is meant to be non-stripping particularly.

Has my toddlers turn into preschoolers I still trust Johnson's baby wash on their skin and face. I like this because at this point they enjoy washing themselves and I don't have to worry about them getting soap in their eyes and having a meltdown. And if I'm really being honest I love the way the stuff smells and just reminds me of my little babies. This is a huge 27 fluid ounce bottle and it comes with a pump. I don't love the pump-action as you only get a tiny amount at one time and I have to pump it three or four times to get enough on a bath cloth for them. According to the bottle that has no parabens, no phthalates, sulfates or dyes and that has to be a good thing. I am not a mommy seeks out 100% organic things and I've heard the controversy about these products but did not steered me wrong and I still love the brand. It's a quality product and a great value.

My son and I have sensitive skin. With certain soaps, we end up with rashes on our arms and along the crease and sensitive areas like the inside of our elbow, neck, and behind the knees... It took me awhile to understand what was going on with me, but in time learned that perfumes and chemicals caused havoc on my skin. As a result, I have always actively looked for hypoallergenic and free of harsh fragrances, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and dyes. I have been using Johnson's most of my life and my son has used the Shea & Cocoa Butter Wash- which I loved the smell of. I tried this one with this trial and I still prefer the shea and cocoa butter was better... But, Johnson's is best for sensitive skin and I have always felt that if it's good enough for a baby, it should work for me.
